Little Elm residents have two chances this week and next to see Town Council members outside the council chambers.
Hillstone Pointe town hall
A quorum of the council may attend a Hillstone Pointe Community Town Hall on Monday, Oct. 26, starting at 6 p.m. at Providence Elementary School, 1000 FM 2931 in Providence Village, according to a notice the town secretary posted Oct. 15.
The notice says town business, issues and items of general interest may be discussed but that no action will be taken. The notice does not say who is hosting the town hall or list topics.
Retreat with boards and commissions
Before that, the council will meet with members of the town's boards and commissions for a retreat at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Tender Smokehouse, 100 Hardwicke Lane. The agenda, posted Oct. 14, lists public comments and a retreat presentation for the council, boards and commissions, with no votes scheduled. Speakers may address the council for up to three minutes during public comments.
The posted agenda pairs the Oct. 22 date with the word Tuesday; Oct. 22 falls on a Thursday, and the town's meeting list shows the retreat on Oct. 22.
