Little Elm, Texas — The Cowboys have added Will Grier to their offensive staff, moving the former quarterback into a coaching post before camp.
The July 24 announcement followed Grier’s retirement from playing. ESPN reported that his decision came July 15 after an offseason spent with the Panthers.
Carolina selected Grier in the third round in 2019. He later had two separate Cowboys stints, largely in preseason and practice-squad roles.
Little Elm-area Cowboys followers will see the new offensive-staff assignment begin with camp next week.
