Shoppers at The Lawn at The Lakefront on Saturday, Oct. 24, will be buying from some unusually young business owners.

The Town of Little Elm is hosting a Kids Market there from 6 to 9 p.m., with booths run by young entrepreneurs selling their own products and ideas, according to the town's event listing. The Lawn is at 125 Main St.

Families who stay can catch a movie. "Scoob!" starts at 7 p.m. on The Lawn as part of the town's outdoor Movie Night series, which the town calls Lights, Camera, Lawn.

Children who want a booth sign up through KidsMarkets.com, the registration site the town lists for vendors. The listing does not give a fee or a deadline.

Medication drop-off that morning

Earlier the same day, the Little Elm Police Department is taking part in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Residents can drop off unwanted or expired medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Public Safety Building, 88 W. Eldorado Parkway, for safe disposal.

The department's page notes that people who miss the event can find year-round disposal sites through the Drug Enforcement Administration's website.
