Mercedes-Benz Canada and Holt Renfrew have launched Mercedes-Benz Studio Toronto, a collaborative luxury experience located within the retailer’s flagship Bloor Street store in Toronto. The space officially opened on June 26, 2026, as part of the global Mercedes-Benz Studios initiative. This project serves as a key component of the automotive brand’s 140th-anniversary celebrations, which highlight its history of innovation.

The studio integrates Mercedes-Benz vehicles with curated fashion and premium products within a design-focused environment. According to the companies, the initiative aims to merge automotive excellence with retail by creating an immersive setting where customers can engage with the brand beyond traditional dealership models. The Toronto location follows a consistent global blueprint for Mercedes-Benz Studios while incorporating unique elements tailored to its specific neighborhood.

Alex Matthews, vice president of digital, public relations, and marketing for Mercedes-Benz Canada, stated that the partnership brings the brand into Yorkville, described as the city’s most prestigious area. He noted that the design-led space allows visitors to explore various aspects of the brand, including AMG performance, S-Class luxury, Electric GLC technology, and MANUFAKTUR craftsmanship. The goal is to create an inviting atmosphere that reflects the brand’s evolution and connection to its audience.

The experience is structured to change throughout the year. Mercedes-Benz Studio Toronto will undergo three creative refreshes in 2026, each introducing new automotive displays and fashion retail offerings. These variations are designed to showcase different themes, including sport, timeless creativity, and holiday celebrations. The updates aim to provide compelling reasons for visitors to return to the location repeatedly.

Each creative phase will feature exclusive product releases, including limited-quantity co-branded items from Canadian and global luxury fashion brands. These drops are intended to enhance the sense of discovery and highlight the intersection of style and automotive design. A permanent feature within the studio is the MANUFAKTUR Atelier, which displays personalization options and craftsmanship details, serving as a consistent element across all three evolutions.

The studio operates as part of a broader network of locations in over ten cities across four continents. While specific details regarding long-term operational plans or future expansion beyond the current three evolutions were not provided, the current focus remains on delivering a continuously evolving retail and automotive experience within the Holt Renfrew store.
