Little Elm, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.3900 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 11, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.4000 yesterday. That is up from $3.2350 a week ago but lower than $3.4130 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.4420, while the national average is $3.8820. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 2 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9430, drivers are paying about 45 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Dallas area averages $4.6010 per gallon, AAA reported.
