Little Elm, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.5700 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 15, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.3390 yesterday. That is up from $3.2910 a week ago but higher than $3.3170 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.4840, while the national average is $3.8900. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 25 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8910, drivers are paying about 68 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Dallas area averages $4.7150 per gallon, AAA reported.
