Little Elm Opens at Lamar, With Guyer and Lewisville Ahead

The Lobos are ranked 207th in Texas and face one of the more demanding district slates around, including Guyer, Lewisville, Marcus and Hebron.

Little Elm begins its 2026 season Friday, Aug. 28 on the road at Lamar.

The Lobos are ranked No. 207 in Texas by On3, with Lamar close behind at No. 230.

A demanding district

The schedule's difficulty is concentrated later. Little Elm faces Guyer, ranked No. 11 in the state, along with Lewisville at No. 24, Hebron at No. 50 and Marcus at No. 74. Few programs in the area face four opponents ranked that highly in a single season.

Before that, the Lobos host Mansfield Legacy, ranked No. 268, on Sept. 4 and McKinney, ranked No. 142, on Sept. 11. Little Elm plays 10 regular-season games.

What to watch

A schedule stacked with top-75 opponents is a hard place to build a record, but it is a useful place to build a team. The early games against Lamar, Mansfield Legacy and McKinney are the stretch where Little Elm can bank results before the district gauntlet arrives.
