Frisco Police responded to a robbery call at the Frisco Athletic Center on June 29, 2026, around 8 p.m. The incident took place in the facility's parking lot and involved a firearm. According to the department, the individuals involved fled the scene in a blue and white Ford Bronco before law enforcement arrived.

Officers tracked the vehicle to a nearby fast-food restaurant, a few miles from the athletic center. The Bronco was determined to belong to a resident in the vicinity. When police located the vehicle, they interviewed the people associated with it. Investigators noted that the individual carrying the handgun was not present at that location.

A preliminary investigation, conducted with help from detectives and school resource officers, revealed that the people involved are juveniles enrolled in Frisco Independent School District. The department stated that all parties identified in the incident will be held accountable for their actions.

Frisco is about 7 miles east of Little Elm.
