20-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Little Elm Beach Rescue

A 20-year-old man was taken to a hospital following a water rescue operation at Little Elm Beach on Sunday.

A 20-year-old man is in the hospital after being rescued from the water at Little Elm Beach, according to local officials.

The Little Elm Fire Department received a call around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday regarding a potential drowning incident at the beach. Crews immediately initiated search and rescue protocols in response to the emergency report.

Lewisville Fire Department personnel assisted in the operation and successfully retrieved the victim from the water slightly more than an hour after the initial dispatch. The man was subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment.

Details regarding the individual's current health status have not been released. His condition remains unknown as of the latest updates from authorities.

The Little Elm Fire Department issued a statement asking the public to support those affected by the incident. Officials requested that thoughts and prayers be directed toward the victim, his family, and the first responders who participated in the rescue effort.
