The Town of Little Elm has officially commenced the Hill Lane Expansion Project. As construction activities progress, the municipality will implement temporary traffic control measures in multiple phases to ensure safety for workers and motorists in the affected area.

The contractor has established the initial phase of the traffic control plan. Drivers traveling through Little Elm should anticipate changes to traffic patterns near the intersections of Oak Grove Parkway and Eldorado Parkway. These traffic configurations are not static and will change throughout the duration of the project as construction advances.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to exercise caution when traveling through the construction zone. It is important to follow all posted traffic signs and signals. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time when possible to accommodate potential delays caused by the ongoing work.

The Town of Little Elm has stated that it will continue to provide updates ahead of each new traffic control phase. These updates are intended to help residents plan for upcoming changes to road access and routing. The municipality thanked the community for their patience and cooperation as the town works to improve transportation infrastructure in Little Elm.

This announcement follows other recent local news items, including targeted mosquito spraying following positive West Nile Virus samples, lane closures on Eldorado Parkway for Playtri, and the 2026 Sunrise Bay Asphalt Street Maintenance Project. The town also recently noted its ranking among the best places to live in the United States.
