As the college football season nears, Baylor University has unveiled its depth chart for the upcoming match against Auburn. This release highlights both expected positions and ongoing competitions within the team as they prepare for the game in Atlanta.
A key competition is occurring at wide receiver, where Jadon Porter and Dre'lon Miller are listed as co-starters for the third spot. Miller, who transferred from Colorado, had missed some practice due to injury but is anticipated to make a significant impact.
Porter, who recorded nine receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown last season, is also expected to contribute, regardless of who secures the starting role.
The offensive line has formed as anticipated, with Koltin Sieracki stepping in at center after Yakiri Walker, a transfer from Memphis, lost his eligibility. The starting lineup will feature Logan Moore at left tackle, Nate Kibble at left guard, Asher Hale at right guard, and Kaden Sieracki at right tackle, with Kaden being the only full-time starter returning.
Defensively, there are questions at nose tackle and strong safety, with Hosea Wheeler competing against Jamaal Whyce Jr. for the nose tackle position.
