Despite the suspension, the Star-Telegram continued its coverage of the incident. TCU Athletics released a statement emphasizing its commitment to progress and recognizing the newspaper's importance as an independent news source in the community.
The Horned Frogs' season commenced with a loss against North Carolina, with a score of 15-10, in Ireland. They are set to compete against Grambling State on September 12.
The decision to revoke credentials was reportedly connected to threats made against Ezukanma, although the Star-Telegram clarified that it did not disclose his identity after the incident. With the credentials now reinstated, the Star-Telegram will regain full access to media areas during TCU games.
