Dallas Cowboys starting inside linebacker DeMarvion Overshown is expected to miss one or two weeks with a hamstring injury, coach Brian Schottenheimer said. The 26-year-old will not play Sunday against the Washington Commanders, according to cbssports.com.

Overshown sustained the injury in the Cowboys’ loss to the New York Giants last Sunday. Schottenheimer had previously said the linebacker was likely to be sidelined for one or two weeks.

The injury could also keep Overshown out of Dallas’ Week 3 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. His availability for that game depends on whether he is able to return to practice. The report did not include additional information about his recovery.
