Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue was unable to participate in joint practice due to a shoulder injury, as reported by Patrik Walker from the Cowboys' official site.
During the Cowboys' preseason opener last weekend, Blue had 10 touches and gained 34 yards. He is in competition for the backup running back role behind Javonte Williams and is anticipated to have considerable playing time throughout the preseason.
Should Blue's shoulder issue prevent him from playing in the next game against the Arizona Cardinals, Malik Davis could have a chance to claim the RB2 position. Further information on the extent of Blue's injury has not yet been disclosed.
