SMU's 2027 football schedule will bring Clemson, NC State, Georgia Tech and Stanford to Gerald J. Ford Stadium for ACC games. The Mustangs also are slated to begin the season against Oklahoma at AT&T Stadium.
The team will play five conference games away from home, visiting Cal, Virginia, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Duke. That gives SMU nine ACC games under the league's current scheduling model, which is entering its second season. The format requires nine conference games and at least 10 contests against Power Four opponents each season.
The ACC said dates and the complete 2027 schedule are expected in late January. Under coach Rhett Lashlee, SMU is 15-2 in ACC play and has not been defeated in conference games at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. That record is the top mark among ACC programs during that period.
SMU is scheduled to play No. 23 Louisville on the road this week. smumustangs.com reported the schedule information.
