Oziyah Sellers is now part of SMU’s men’s basketball program after enrolling at the school, which announced his addition. The fifth-year guard is practicing with the team, but SMU did not say when a decision on his eligibility will be made.
Sellers spent last season at St. John’s, opening 36 games for a team that went 30-7 and won the Big East championship. He produced 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. The season before that, he started all of Stanford’s games and averaged 13.7 points in the ACC.
He previously played two seasons at USC under SMU coach Andy Enfield. Sellers has converted 37.8% of his career three-point attempts, including 42.9% during his sophomore season at USC, and has made 86.9% of his free throws. SMU is entering Enfield’s third season as coach and has a 2026-27 transfer class ranked No. 21 nationally by On3.
