Henry To’oTo’o is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury sustained in the Houston Texans’ 36-31 defeat against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Coach DeMeco Ryans disclosed the injury update on Sept. 14.
To’oTo’o departed during the fourth quarter, with the game still undecided, and did not return. He made two tackles before leaving. The linebacker finished the 2025 season with 95 tackles after recording more than 100 in 2024.
The injury creates another issue for Houston’s linebacker unit. Troy Chapman, who writes for Over The Cap, said on X that the development was anticipated after To’oTo’o was seen in a sling. Garret Williams, using the Houston Stressans account, identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as potential alternatives. Hansen, however, was also injured during the game.
