With just three weeks left before the Texans' first game on September 13, it seems unlikely he will participate in the final preseason match.
In addition to Dell's situation, the Texans are also dealing with the impact of Jayden Higgins' ACL injury, which has complicated the No. 2 wide receiver position alongside Nico Collins. Candidates like Xavier Hutchinson and Jaylin Noel are now vying for that role.
