The Houston Texans have re-signed tight end Louis Hansen, marking his second stint with the team. Hansen initially joined the Texans in June but was waived in late July. His return does not require any roster adjustments.
Hansen went undrafted in April and has a collegiate background from the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut. Throughout his college career, he made 46 receptions for 463 yards and scored four touchdowns over 40 games.
The current tight end lineup for the Texans includes Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round draft pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. Details regarding Hansen's specific role with the team have not yet been disclosed.
