Roberts breaks it open
Jamal Roberts’ 54-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter completed Missouri’s 27-6 victory over Texas A&M on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. The run gave the Tigers a 27-6 lead after Blake Craig’s extra point and capped Roberts’ 34-carry, 222-yard, two-touchdown performance.
Missouri played at home, while Texas A&M was the visiting team. The game was played before an attendance of 63,609.
Missouri takes control
Texas A&M opened the scoring in the first quarter when David Olano made a 53-yard field goal for a 3-0 Aggies lead. Missouri answered in the second period as Austin Simmons connected with Cayden Lee for a 32-yard touchdown, followed by a Blake Craig kick. Craig later added a 50-yard field goal, sending the Tigers into halftime with a 10-3 advantage.
Missouri added to its lead in the third quarter. Craig made a 51-yard field goal, and Roberts followed with a 2-yard touchdown run. Craig’s kick made the score 20-3.

Olano made a 27-yard field goal for Texas A&M in the fourth quarter, cutting the margin to 20-6 before Roberts’ 54-yard scoring run restored Missouri’s 21-point lead.
