Duran Powers Rangers' Comeback

Ezequiel Duran was the decisive factor as the Texas Rangers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 7-4 on Sunday, August 30, at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for the Rangers, who improved to 67-70, while the Brewers fell to 85-52. Attendance was 37,996.

Scoring Sequence

The Brewers took an early lead in the first inning. Max Muncy singled to right, allowing Brice Turang to score and making it 0-1. Chourio followed with a single to left, scoring Muncy and extending Milwaukee's lead to 0-2. The Rangers responded in the second inning when Luis Díaz hit a ground rule double, scoring Max Muncy to make the score 1-2.

Duran tied the game in the third inning with a home run to left center that traveled 410 feet. In the fifth inning, Duran hit a ground rule double that scored both Langford and Seager, giving Texas a 4-2 lead. The Brewers cut the deficit to 5-2 in the sixth inning when Pederson homered to right for 380 feet.

Pitching Performance

The Rangers capitalized in the seventh inning. Burger reached on an infield single to shortstop, scoring Nimmo and moving Duran to second. Freeman then singled to right, scoring Duran and bringing the score to 6-2. Sánchez hit a home run to center for 386 feet, scoring Chourio and making the final margin 7-4.

Tyler Alexander earned the win with two scoreless innings, allowing no hits and one walk while striking out one. Jacob Latz recorded the save in one scoreless inning. Dustin May took the loss for Milwaukee, pitching 4.1 innings and allowing six hits and four earned runs.
