Dangerous Heat Conditions Underway

Little Elm is currently under an Extreme Heat Warning, signaling severe and dangerous heat conditions for the area. The National Weather Service has also issued a Heat Advisory and an Air Quality Alert, compounding the risks associated with the current weather pattern. As of this afternoon, the air temperature stands at 104F, but the combination of heat and humidity makes it feel like 111F.

The relative humidity is at 32%, with a dew point of 68F. Winds are blowing from the northeast at 10 mph, with gusts reaching 11 mph, under a clear sky.
