Little Elm, Texas — D Magazine reported that Ridgeway’s role covers the Mavericks’ social-responsibility strategy, charitable programs and community engagement.
Jennifer Ridgeway has been named chief impact officer by the Dallas Mavericks. The appointment concerns the franchise’s community and philanthropic operations, not its roster or on-court staff.
Ridgeway comes to Dallas after executive roles with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, including as chief impact officer. Sports Business Journal reported that she will report to Mavericks President Ethan Casson.
The Mavericks play their home games in Dallas, and the franchise’s community programs serve residents across North Texas, including the Little Elm area.
