The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention holds its Denton and Collin Counties Out of the Darkness Walk on Sunday, November 15, at Little Elm Park. Check-in begins at 1 p.m. and the walk starts at 2 p.m. The non-competitive walk covers 1 to 3 miles and includes an opening ceremony, activities, resource tables, and complimentary honor beads for participants. Participation is free, and funds raised support suicide prevention research, advocacy, education programs, and support for survivors of suicide loss.
