The Dallas Cowboys are set to kick off their 2026 training camp in Oxnard, California, with players reporting on July 27 and fan-accessible practices starting on July 29. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer will hold his first press conference of the season on July 29, joined by owner Jerry Jones and executive vice president Stephen Jones.

The camp will feature the annual Back Together Saturday event on August 1, with free public practices available until August 18. A primary focus for the team will be its defense, which struggled in 2025, allowing an average of 30 points per game, the worst in the league.

New defensive coordinator Christian Parker is implementing a 3-4 scheme, and the Cowboys may have as many as seven new starters on defense.

In contrast, the offense remains largely unchanged, having averaged 27.7 points per game last season. This marks the 20th year the Cowboys have held their training camp in Oxnard.
