The Town of Little Elm is accepting applications for seven positions on its Youth Council, which will serve a one-year term. The group acts as a bridge between the town government and local students, focusing on issues that impact youth in the area.

Selected members, who must be current residents enrolled in ninth through twelfth grade, will participate in monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month beginning in August 2026. Responsibilities include learning about local government operations, hosting guest speakers, organizing community service projects each semester, and presenting annual reports to the City Council.

Applicants must submit their materials by 5:30 p.m. on July 20, 2026. Interested individuals can obtain more information by calling (214) 618-8424 or visiting the town's website. Further details regarding the selection process or specific project topics are not yet clear.
