Acy is 6 feet, 7 inches tall and is described as capable of making an impact at both ends of the floor. His listed abilities include protecting the rim, interfering with passing lanes, and producing blocks and deflections. The report said more recruiting offers are likely for the highly ranked player.
Acy is the child of Quincy Acy, a former Baylor forward who played for the Bears from 2008 to 2012. Quincy Acy made the All-Big 12 Defensive Team for the 2011-12 season and was known for scoring, rebounding and blocking shots near the basket.
Baylor coach Scott Drew coached Quincy Acy throughout his four seasons with the program. Drew became Baylor's head coach in 2003 after previously serving as an assistant at Valparaiso under his father, Hall of Fame coach Homer Drew.
