TCU expects wide receiver Jordan Dwyer to be available for its Sept. 26 Big 12 opener against UCF after he missed the Horned Frogs’ first three games of the 2026 season. Coach Sonny Dykes said after TCU’s 31-7 win over Arkansas State that Dwyer’s return could give the team a lift, though his availability has not been confirmed beyond the coach’s update.
Dwyer transferred to TCU from Idaho and was a key offensive contributor in 2025. He started all of the team’s regular-season games, recording 54 receptions, 730 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. His TCU debut against North Carolina included nine catches, 136 yards and one touchdown.
With Dwyer sidelined, Ed Small has emerged as one of TCU’s leading receivers. Tight end Kari Ashley also contributed against Arkansas State, giving quarterback Jaden Craig additional targets during the opening games. TCU enters conference play with a 2-1 record.
