Universal Kids has officially opened its new theme park and resort in Frisco, marking the debut of a family-oriented destination owned by NBCUniversal. The facility, located near the Dallas North Tollway, is situated approximately 7 miles east of Little Elm.

The resort features 300 hotel rooms, including themed accommodations, dining options, and a swimming pool. According to park officials, the first group of families checked in on the evening prior to the public opening. Guests staying at the on-site hotel are eligible for early admission to the park.

Regular operating hours typically run from 10 a.m. to 7 or 8 p.m., with specific closing times varying by day. Park management has advised visitors to stay hydrated and seek shade during their visit.

Ticket availability for the initial days of operation has been mixed. While tickets for Friday and Sunday remained available at the time of reporting, admissions for Wednesday and Saturday, July 4, were sold out. Limited tickets were still accessible for other dates.

Local residents have expressed enthusiasm for the new attraction. Breshelle West of Frisco stated she was excited about the development. Jeremy Li of Celina noted that he had watched the construction progress daily on his commute and shared his anticipation for the park's opening.

Parents in the area have welcomed the addition as a new option for summer activities. Further details regarding long-term pricing, specific ride lists, or future expansion plans were not provided in the initial reports.
