The Little Elm high school football program is looking to reverse a two-year slide after finishing consecutive seasons with winless records. Under first-year head coach Keiston Alexander, the Lobos showed signs of improvement in 2025 by competing closely against stronger opponents. Several games were decided by seven points or fewer, including matchups against Coppell, Marcus, and Lewisville.
The team enters its second season with Alexander at the helm, relying on six returning starters for both offense and defense. Senior Tyson Paul remains the primary ground threat, while the passing game features senior Kaiden Jones alongside sophomores Steven Harper and juniors Lincoln Daniels and Tristan Reilly. Jaylan Finnie also returns as a receiver.
Quarterback duties will shift to junior Sash Suriyah, who steps into the starting role. He is supported by an offensive line anchored by seniors Daniel Montemayor, Malik Unuigbey, and Maddox Greil. The secondary gains experience from juniors Curran Swint and Kash Alexander, along with seniors JaKaleb Johnson and Landon Echols.
Defensive front seven contributions are expected from seniors Zaylen Mosley-Cleveland and Zayden Watts, alongside junior Tyler Paul and senior Gavin Ellis in the linebacker corps. The coaching staff anticipates significant input from several sophomores, including defensive back Nehemiah Taylor-Hillis, receivers Cayden McGee, offensive linemen Tristan McCallion and Aiden Harris, defensive lineman Kadyn Bingham, and linebacker-running back Channing Bailey.
Wide receiver Steven Harper is highlighted as a key player to watch. The 6-foot-2 sophomore brings 19 scholarship offers, including interest from USC, SMU, and Florida State, after recording over 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns at the sub-varsity level last year.
