The Frisco Police Department is requesting public assistance to solve a robbery that took place at the Frisco Athletic Center on June 29. The incident occurred in the facility's parking lot around 8 p.m., according to a department update posted on social media on Wednesday.

Responding officers were told the robbery followed a pre-arranged meeting between the involved parties. The suspects departed the scene in a blue and white Ford Bronco before law enforcement arrived. Investigators later determined the vehicle belonged to a nearby resident and located it at a fast-food restaurant a few miles from the athletic center.

Officers interviewed the occupants of the Bronco but found that the individual carrying the handgun was not present. Detectives and school resource officers conducted a preliminary investigation that revealed the individuals involved are juveniles enrolled in Frisco ISD. The department stated that all parties identified in the incident will be held accountable for their actions.

Frisco is about 7 miles east of Little Elm.

The department is asking anyone with information about the case or related offenses to call 972-292-6010. Residents can also submit anonymous tips by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 or by using the Frisco PD app.

Details regarding the specific charges or the current status of the juveniles are not yet clear.
